Robins reflected on recent games against Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers and looked ahead to the Huddersfield match in his regular programme column, which you can read in full in PUSB.
Talking about Saturday's win at Wycombe, Robins praised his side on a big three points.
"It was another great 3 points," said the Sky Blues boss.
"They are a physical side and they play to their strengths, and you have to be brave and stand up to that. We defended well and kept their opportunities down until they were gifted a soft penalty."
Looking ahead to the Huddersfield clash, Robins comes up against a club that he has previously been in charge of.
"They are a club I managed previously, with good people and supporters.
"After relegation from the Premier League they had a lot of changes and had to re-build again, and they have assembled a talented squad. Carlos arrived at the club as manager in July, with experience of success at this level as a coach with Leeds United for the last couple of seasons.
"They will have been disappointed with their defeat at the weekend against Bournemouth with a much changed team, having taken 9 points from their previous 4 games, and will be looking to react positively tonight, so we will step up to that challenge."
With the Sky Blues on a seven-game unbeaten run, Robins is looking for his side to continue their good form on Wednesday night at St Andrew's.
"We are now seven games unbeaten, being more solid in defence and creating and taking goal scoring opportunities at the other end," said the City manager.
"Tonight, we want to maintain that approach as our busy run of fixtures this month continues and play positive football again this evening. It will be another good test for us against a strong side at this level, and one we are looking forward to."
