1 December 2020

The EFL have confirmed that Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash with Derby County tonight.

Mark Robins side take on Derby in Sky Bet Championship action at Pride Park with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm.

It will be the first time that Whitestone has taken charge of a game involving the Sky Blues beat Oxford United 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium back in 2018.

This year will mark Dean's 14th season as a referee in the Football League and over that time period he has officiated six Sky Blues fixtures.

With Dean in the middle, City have a record of:

Wins - 9
Draws - 3
Defeats - 2

This season so far, Whitestone has awarded seven yellow cards and no red cards in the five games he has officiated across the Championship, League Two and EFL Cup.

Whitestone will be assisted by Jonathan Hunt and Mark Pottage whilst Geoff Eltringham will act as the fourth official.
