Following the announcement from the Government that Birmingham will continue to be in Tier 3 of Coronavirus restrictions, unfortunately Coventry City will not be able to welcome Sky Blues supporters back to St Andrew’s yet.
We are working alongside Birmingham City and local safety authorities to welcome our supporters back safely to St Andrew’s when Birmingham is able to move to Tier 2 and when fans are allowed to return.
If the Government has its next review next week, as it has indicated, on 23rd December, even if a move to Tier 2 was announced then, unfortunately this would be too late to make arrangements for our game on Boxing Day.
We hope that fans will be allowed to return as early as it is safe to do so in the New Year and we will continue to keep fans updated on the situation as best as we can.
