Coventry City can confirm that the new home and away kit will be revealed next week!
Sky Blues fans have been eagerly waiting to get their first glimpse of the new kit, and they now haven’t got long to wait…
On Thursday, BoyleSports were announced as the Club’s new shirt sponsor and principal partner, and today we can confirm that next week will see the big reveal.
Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:
“We’re really looking forward to revealing the kits to fans.
“We signed off the kits last November and have been keen ever since to show them off to our fans.
“Since then the Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge effect on the world and football, and a knock-on effect on many companies, including along the chain involved in getting the kit finalised, revealed and eventually to fans – all beyond our control.
“Kits have been ‘ready’ for some time, but we have been waiting confirmation of our sponsors. Many companies have significantly reduced their marketing and sponsorship spend due to COVID, and in this climate we have worked hard to maximise the revenue to the Club and extended our time to do this.
“Thankfully, after a lot of interest, we have secured a high value sponsorship and signed an agreement with BoyleSports now, a position a number of clubs are not fortunate enough to be in currently.
“There will be time to add the sponsorship logo to the shirts themselves, which is an important part of the agreement and of the value to our sponsor. It is a process we are working with our partners to speed up.
“I know that some fans have found the wait frustrating, but it will certainly be worth it.
“We’re delighted that we’re in a position to reveal the kit next week, so we’d ask fans to make sure you keep checking our website and social media.”
In a new concept, fans will be able to pre-order shirts NOW ahead of them being revealed.

Supporters will be able to pre-order the Adults Home and Away Shirt (£47), Shorts (£25), Socks (£10), the Junior Home and Away Shirt (£42), Shorts (£20), Socks (£10) and the Home Mini-Kit (£40).
Please note, all orders are expected to be fulfilled by the end of September.
Boddy explained: “Many Sky Blues fans will want to purchase shirts every year, and we’ve now provided them the option to buy ahead of even seeing the shirt.
“It’s similar to pre-ordering an album of your favourite artist before hearing the songs and is a new concept for us and for fans ahead of next week’s kit reveal.”
