NEWS: Coventry City thanks Allsopp & Allsopp as their sponsorship concludes

19 August 2020

Coventry City would like to thank Allsopp & Allsopp, as their time as the club’s principal partner and shirt sponsor concludes.

The multi award-winning estate agents returned as the Sky Blues’ home and away shirt sponsors last season, having also been shirt sponsor previously from 2014 to 2018 - with the away shirts sponsored alongside the home shirts for the final two years of that agreement.

It was a successful season for the club and Allsopp & Allsopp as the Sky Blues won the League One title and promotion back to the Championship. The hummel home, away and third shirts were all adorned with the Allsopp & Allsopp, and were some of the most successful and iconic kits that Coventry City have ever had.

The family owned business is headed up by brothers and life-long Coventry City fans Lewis and Carl Allsopp and has offices locally in Coventry, Nuneaton and Leamington, as well as internationally in Dubai.

As individuals, alongside father Gary Allsopp, and as a company, they have been loyal and long-term supporters of Coventry City. We have enjoyed a successful relationship with Allsopp and Allsopp, and we would like to place on record our thanks and gratitude to them for their support of the club.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said:

“We would like to thank Allsopp & Allsopp for their support, especially in the circumstances at the start of last season when they returned as our front of shirt sponsors and principal partner.

“They have been big backers of the club, and personally we have all enjoyed a very good relationship with the Allsopp family.

“I know that seeing their logo on the front of our shirts brought great pride to them, and we look forward to maintaining a good relationship with them in the years to come.”

Details regarding Coventry City’s new shirt sponsor and principal partner will be released in the coming days, with news of the Sky Blues’ new home and away kits soon too.
