The Sky Blues secured victory in the first fixture of the day, after scoring late on to restore their advantage in the game.
City had taken the lead when Callum O'Hare produced a moment of brilliance and then picked out Matty Godden and he scored on his return to the Weston Homes Stadium.
Midway through the second half, Ryan Broom put the hosts back on level terms, but then with six minutes remaining, O'Hare found the back of the net.
