VACANCY: Community Engagement Co-ordinator at Sky Blues in the Community

£22,000per annum
Full-Time (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week)

 

Sky Blues in the Community are looking to add to their dedicated team with a position that delivers activities across Coventry & Warwickshire on behalf of Coventry City Football Club.

The Post holder will implement a new three-year targeted Youth Engagement project. The project will involve the planning and delivery of a targeted piece of work. The Post holder will be tasked to develop our work with young people within local schools and in the community, to help develop skills and resiliency around conflict, violence and aggression. This role will require a dynamic facilitator and effective organiser who has experience of working with young people individually and in a group setting.

In addition, the Post holder will support the National Citizen Service (NCS) programme manager to successfully achieve all contractual targets and will support with the programme delivery and recruitment of young people using a variety of mechanisms including presentations, social activities and innovative ways to engage the target group.

Applicants must: have relevant qualifications (minimum FA Level 2 & Youth Work Award Level 2) and experience of working in the sport industry and youth work; will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & are required to hold a full UK Driving Licence with access to a suitable vehicle for work. This role will require working flexible and unsociable hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays where appropriate).
