Coventry City are delighted to announce G&R Scaffolding as the Sky Blues’ Corner Kick sponsors for the rest of the 2019-20 season.
With over 30 years of experience in the scaffolding industry, G & R have earned a reputation as one of the West Midland’s leading hire and erection scaffolding suppliers. They are based at Coventry Road in Exhall and have been long-term sponsors of the Sky Blues up until the end of last season.
After what owner Glenn McFall describes as a ‘tough decision’ not to renew their Scoreboard and Back of Shorts sponsorships, G&R Scaffolding are back!
“I was still coming to support the team in Birmingham this season, but at the time found it difficult having our business name up in lights while we played in Birmingham,” said McFall.
“I’ve been coming over to games, and I can’t resist wanting to come back and support the Manager and the players with a sponsorship.
“I’m gutted to have missed out on the Back of Shorts sponsorship, but fair play to Juggy Chima and the Exams Office for their support of the Club.”
Glenn said he has been impressed with the Sky Blues’ performances so far this season, which has seen them unbeaten so far in SkyBet League One, and the atmosphere at St Andrew’s.
“As well as the style of play and winning mentality so far, the warm welcome we’ve received from the St Andrew’s staff and even the Birmingham City fans has played a massive part in wanting to come back and sponsor the Club.”
Glenn added:
“By advertising at our games at St Andrew’s I am not advertising to people in Birmingham – I am advertising to Coventrians and Sky Blues fans.
“I am delighted to be supporting the Club, the Manager and the players, and I am very proud to do so.”
