NEWS: Coventry City apologises to fans affected by Main Stand car park issue today

7 September 2019

Coventry City would like to apologise to any fans that were unable to park in the Main Stand Car Park at this afternoon’s game against Blackpool.

Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, said:

“We would like to apologise to the small number of fans that were incorrectly turned away from the Main Stand Car Park this afternoon.

“This is completely unacceptable and not the experience we want fans to have or that they should expect.

“Matchdays have run very smoothly so far at St Andrew’s, and that is what fans should expect.

“There will be a full investigation with our colleagues at Birmingham City first thing on Monday morning, and any fans who were turned away will be entitled to a pro-rata refund and we will pay for any parking they have purchased elsewhere.

“Fans affected can contact us by emailing matchday@ccfc.co.uk, while to receive a refund on parking elsewhere please contact us on the same email address with a proof of purchase of your alternative parking.

“Once again, we would like apologise to those supporters who were affected.”
