Jordon Thompson started his third consecutive game for Boreham Wood this weekend as they picked up all three points.
Jordon has been enjoying plenty of minutes whilst out on loan in the National League, as he helped Boreham Wood to a 3-1 victory at home to Dover Athletic.
The win leaves Boreham Wood mid table in the National League on eleven points, as they look to climb towards the play-off places.
Elsewhere, following his Deadline Day move to the Sky Blues last week, Joe Newton returned to Royston Town in the FA Cup First Round qualifying.
Royston picked up a 7-2 win over Rothwell Corinthians, in which Joe played the full 90 minutes.
They will now look to secure their place in the Third Round of qualifying, but first they will have to get past Balham FC on the 21st of September.
In League Two and it was more disappointment for Scunthorpe United and Junior Brown, as the Iron suffered a 2-0 defeat away at Mansfield Town.
Junior played the full 90 minutes, in what was Scunthorpe’s fourth consecutive defeat in League Two, leaving them with just one point at the bottom of the division.
To the National League South and it was defeat for Dulwich Hamlet in their away trip to Braintree Town this past weekend.
Reise Allassani saw out the full 90, but he was unable to prevent Dulwich from throwing away their 1-0 lead in the game, as they suffered a 2-1 defeat.
Finally, Jordan Ponticelli was an unused substitute in Tranmere Rovers 2-2 draw with Gillingham in League One.
