NEWS: Coventry City appoint Daniel Bolas as Academy Manager

Coventry City are delighted to confirm the appointment of Daniel Bolas as the Club’s new Academy Manager.

Highly regarded Bolas joins the Sky Blues’ Category 2 Academy from fellow Midlands side Aston Villa, where he has held the role of Early Development & Retention Co-ordinator.

Daniel has over 18 years of coaching experience, including spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.

Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, said: “We are pleased to welcome Daniel as our new Academy Manager.”

“We had a high number of strong applicants, and Daniel impressed me and the interviewing panel, which included Manager Mark Robins and Academy Head of Coaching Mick Halsall, with his presentation and vision”

“We look forward to working with Daniel and him delivering his vision to further continue the growth and excellent work of our Academy.”

Daniel said: “ I am honoured and excited to be the new Academy Manager at Coventry City.

“The Academy has a strong reputation for developing young footballers and I look forward to working with the Academy staff to help carry this on over the coming years.”
