NEWS: Adi Viveash agrees new contract with Coventry City!

17 October 2019

Coventry City are pleased to confirm that Assistant Manager Adi Viveash has agreed a new contract with the Sky Blues.

The highly respected former Chelsea Development Squad Manager joined the Sky Blues in August 2017, having led the Blues Under 18s to three consecutive FA Youth Cup finals and UEFA Youth League victories in 2015 and 2016 and played akey role in the development of several current first-team players.

Adi has been a vital part of the Sky Blues management team since his arrival at Ryton two years ago, including in the memorable promotion from League Two and then helping to re-establish City in League One.

The former Swindon, Reading and Walsall defender said that he was delighted to agree a new contract with the Sky Blues.

Viveash said: “I am very pleased to have agreed a new contract with Coventry City, and to continue the work that we have started.

“I have enjoyed my time at the Club so far, working with the players we have here and being able to develop them both on and off the pitch, as well as working with the Gaffer and the rest of the staff.

“Our immediate aim is to get into the Championship, and I am looking forward to that challenge and continuing the progress that we have made.”

Manager Mark Robins said: “It is excellent news that Adi has agreed a new contract with the Club.

“Adi is an outstanding coach and has a wealth of experience and knowledge.

“He has been an integral part of what has been achieved here over the last couple of years, and we’re all delighted that this has been agreed.”
