The Sky Blues were pegged back late on at the Weston Homes Stadium, as Peterborough United snatched a point in a 2-2 draw.
Amadou Bakayoko gave the Sky Blues the lead 12 minutes into the game, in a half where City dominated proceedings.
Peterborough where level five minutes into the second half when Ivan Toney was brought down in the area and Marcus Maddison stepped up to take the spot-kick and scored.
Then in the 86th minutes, Max Biamou produced something out of the top draw to put the Sky Blues in front with five minutes plus stoppage time remaining.
However, Mo Eisa found the back of the net deep into that injury time to find a leveller for the hosts.
