Sky Blues in the Community Summer Football Camp award winners got a fantastic matchday experience when they got to play on the pitch on Sunday!
The fixture against Tranmere Rovers was chosen as the Sky Blues in the Community Holiday Camp Award Winners Match-Day experience.
Children who were awarded the Respect, Coaches or Star Player Awards from the Summer Holiday Camps had the opportunity to experience activities on the pitch pre-match.
The winners played games on the pitch at St Andrew's before watching the players warm up pitch side and then shirt shaking as the players walked out. It was fantastic to see all of the children having lots of fun and enjoying the whole experience.
Throughout each school holiday, Sky Blues in the Community run three football-based Holiday Camps at the Bedworth Oval, Bablake Playing Fields and The Alan Higgs Centre. FA qualified coaches deliver fun and engaging football drills, challenges and activities designed to improve the skills of both boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of 5 and 11.
They are a great way to keep your child fit and active during the holidays and prices start at just £13.50 per day!
In addition to this, children play tournaments and matches each day where they get to try out the new skills they have learnt and compete in small-sided games against friends and other children within their age group.
Camps also receive various First Team Player visits throughout the holiday, subject to availability. The players enjoy getting involved in the skills, activities and small-sided matches with the children before answering questions and signing autographs.
