Coventry City have announced that digital tickets will now be available for home matches!
After this week’s announcement that disabled supporters will be able to buy tickets online, it is another step forward with Ticketmaster in making buying and using tickets easier for Sky Blues fans.
Sky Blues fans will be able to download the digital tickets on their smart phone device, including iphone and android, and it can then be scanned at turnstiles on entry to the stadium.
This means that fans will no longer have to ‘print at home’, and can purchase, store and use their tickets all on their mobile device.
The Digital Ticket is sent alongside the existing Print at Home option and will be available when buying tickets online or over the phone.
The introduction of digital tickets will directly improve the supporter experience giving easier access to tickets in a few simple clicks.
Individual match tickets can now be purchased and stored digitally on a mobile device via Apple Wallet and Google Pay.

“This new functionality provides a convenient and improved experience for our supporters.
“We’re hopeful many of our supporters will opt for this option, helping us reduce the amount of paper tickets we print and helping improve supporters’ match day experience. Ticketmaster have created the next generation of Digital Tickets and we’re very happy to begin to use this new Ticketmaster feature.”
