Sky Blues in the Community have teamed up with African Adventures to offer an invaluable experience to all Coventry City Fans!
Have you ever wanted to volunteer? You can start your journey now and educate yourself in a way that other experiences can’t.
You can choose from two volunteer roles whilst volunteering on the trip:
Teaching and Multi-Sports – Interaction with the children is at the heart of this role. Assist the teachers with their lessons, read stories, preparing meals and delivering sports and games. The enthusiasm from the children makes this role so rewarding.
Building and Renovation – With overcrowding an issue at partner schools in Kenya, improved facilities are needed to accommodate growing numbers and create more, and better, learning spaces for the children. The clear progress witnessed in this role makes it really worthwhile.
Rhys from Colchester United Football Club said, “The trip put me completely outside of my comfort zone...it provided me with the most breath-taking experience.”
Megan from Burton Albion Football Club said: “Rewarding, mind-blowing, exhilarating, brilliant, worthwhile!”
Chloe Groves, Sky Blues in the Community Football Development Manager said: “We are so grateful to partner with Coventry College on this once in a lifetime adventure. We would love to take a group of ambitious, motivated, generous and hardworking individuals with us to support a school in Kenya.
