We are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Dan Bartlett on a two-year-deal.
The 18-year-old joins the Sky Blues following his departure from Southampton, where he rose through the ranks in the Academy.
Bartlett joined the Sky Blues on a trial period during the back end of last season and impressed in several under-23s outings, earning himself the offer of a contract from City.
The midfielder was with the Under 23s squad at the end of last season and played his part in the side that progressed to the Professional Development League semi-finals.
Following a successful trial period, Dan has now put pen to paper on a deal to commit his future with the Sky Blues.
Speaking after the completion of the deal, Jason Farndon had this to say:
“We’re delighted to finally get the deal done to bring Dan to the club on a permanent deal.
“He came in last year on trial and he showed a real keenness to stay and he had offers from other clubs.
“However, negotiations have been going on since his trial period and we’re happy to have finally got it over the line.
“He is technically very good and controls the tempo of the game from midfield and he also has the ability create goals and also score them, so he will be real asset to the group next season.”
