A young City side continued their season preparations with a draw against AFC Telford United at the New Bucks Head.
Telford nearly took the lead within the first minute after a Chris Lait cross was headed against the crossbar by front man Andre Brown
Ten minutes in the Sky Blues had their first opportunity as trialist whipped in a corner from the right but Max Biamou glanced his header wide.
Five minutes later Reise Allassani latched onto Biamou’s flick on and dragged his shot wide across the Telford ‘keeper.
After 18 minutes Ben Wilson was called into action as he made a great save from close range with his feet to deny Henry Cowans from six yards.
Just moments later Dexter Walters spotted the run of Allassani down the left and fed the ball to the winger who’s shot went over the bar from 18 yards.
Walters then had a chance of his own as the ball broke to the wide man inside the penalty area however, a deflection directed the ball straight into the arms of Andy Wycherely.
25 minutes in the Sky Blues took the lead as Sam McCallum broke down the left and found Trialist who made a jinking run inside and slotted past Andy Wycherley.
Trialist had the opportunity the double his tally as Allassani played the ball across the box from the right before Trialist drilled his shot wide.

Just two minutes after the restart Trialist played a ball through the heart of the Telford defence for the on-rushing Biamou, who’s goal bound shot was deflected wide.
Telford hit the bar for the second time, as a corner from the left was met by the Telford defender who powered a header against the woodwork.
Just after the hour mark, Walters tried his luck from range after he bent a shot just over the bar with his left foot.
Moments later Allassani drove from the half way line beating four men only to be denied by a smart save from Wycherley.
Twelve minutes before time Telford equalised through Trialist after a free kick rebounded off the player and looped into the top corner.
Telford then had a chance to take the lead after good hold up play from the striker, Trialist drilled a shot past the post.
