Coventry City have revealed the home and away kits for the 2019/20 season!

At a launch night at Coombe Abbey attended by Mark Robins and the Sky Blues squad on Friday evening, the new Hummel home and away kits for the upcoming campaign were showcased.

The kits will be available to pre-order from at MIDDAY on Saturday 6th July, with the kit available to purchase in-store later in July.

Replica shirts will be available from Infants to 5XL sizes.

Both kits return to the classic designs of the 1980s, when Hummel first provided kits for Coventry City, and are bespoke to the Sky Blues.

The home kit features a Sky Blue and White contrast gradient design, and includes the famous Hummel chevrons on the arms.

The away kit is yellow and navy, in the same contrast gradient design as featured on the home kit.

Coventry City have also teamed up with hummel to launch ZEROH2O.

Normally, it takes 25 litres of fresh clean water to dye just one single football shirt, and every two years, it takes the entire volume of the Mediterranean Sea to colour the world’s textiles – which is simply not sustainable.

The new ZEROH2O concept sportswear – introduced by Coventry City and hummel this season - will see zero water consumption and zero waste-water discharges – setting a new standard for eco-efficiency and reducing energy consumption by 50%. The new initiative fits well into hummel’s overall mission to change the world through sport.

The new shirts are priced £47 adults, and £42 children.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said: “We’re delighted to reveal the home and away kits for the 2019/20 season, and the first kits of our new partnership with hummel.

“We have worked very closely with hummel through this whole process to create bespoke kits for Coventry City which we know will prove very popular with supporters.

“We look forward to seeing players and fans wearing these kits with pride during the 2019/20 season.”
