NEWS: 19/20 kits in store and on sale from Thursday morning!

24 July 2019

Coventry City are delighted to confirm that the new 2019/20 hummel home and away kits will be available to purchase in the Club Shop from Thursday morning at 9:30am.

The Club Shop at Arena Shopping Park will be open from 9:30am until 7:30pm on Thursday evening.

The kits were revealed at the start of July and made available for pre-order, and have proved hugely popular with Sky Blues fans. Pre-orders have been dispatched to supporters, and now fans will be able to go into the Club Shop and get their hands on the new shirt!

Replica shirts will be available from Infants to 5XL sizes.

Kits are also available to purchase by visiting

Both kits return to the classic designs of the 1980s, when hummel first provided kits for Coventry City, and are bespoke designs to the Sky Blues.

The home kit features a Sky Blue and White contrast gradient design, and includes the famous Hummel chevrons on the arms.

The away kit is yellow and navy, in the same contrast gradient design as featured on the home kit.

Coventry City have also teamed up with hummel to launch ZEROH2O.

Normally, it takes 25 litres of fresh clean water to dye just one single football shirt, and every two years, it takes the entire volume of the Mediterranean Sea to colour the world’s textiles – which is simply not sustainable.

The new ZEROH2O concept sportswear – introduced by Coventry City and hummel this season - will see zero water consumption and zero waste-water discharges – setting a new standard for eco-efficiency and reducing energy consumption by 50%. The new initiative fits well into hummel’s overall mission to change the world through sport.

The new shirts are priced £47 adults, and £42 children.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said: “It’s great news that the new kits are going to be on sale in the Club Shop from Thursday morning, and means the new season is now really close!

“The pre-order numbers have been great since we went on pre-sale on 6th July, and we expect similar popularity now that fans can visit the Club Shop at Arena Shopping Park to buy.

“It is a classic design and has looked brilliant in the pre-season games, and we look forward to seeing many fans getting their hands on the kits ahead of the new campaign.”
