GALLERY: Wednesday for the Sky Blues in Spain

10 July 2019

The Coventry City squad have reached the half-way stage of the Pre-Season Tour.

After two extremely intense days of training overseen by Manager Mark Robins, Assistant Adi Viveash, Under 23s coach Jason Farndon and new goalkeeping coach Aled Williams, the Sky Blues squad only had one session on the pitch today and were given the afternoon off.

It was a different session in the morning too, with players split up into groups by position to focus on different aspects. This was rounded off by hotly contested games of head tennis!

Following the session, the squad cooled off in the outdoor pool before lunch.

After food, around a dozen of the Sky Blues players and staff played Golf at the on-site course.

See photos from the day in our gallery above.

Following the evening meal, the squad are resting ahead of a busy day of training as preparations begin to look to Friday's game against Northampton Town at the Pinatar Arena.

Coventry City face Northampton Town in Spain on Friday 12th July at the Pinatar Arena, with kick-off at 5pm CET (4pm BST.) Fans will be able to attend the game, with admission £10 adults, £5 under 16s. The match will be played on the main pitch at Pinatar - details of the venue here. Tickets are available to buy at the Main Reception of the Pinatar Arena from 10am onwards on Friday.
