TRANSFER: Sky Blues Agree To Sign Michael Rose

Coventry City Football Club are delighted to confirm that they have agreed to sign defender Michael Rose.

The Ayr United defender will officially join the club upon the expiry of his contract with the Scottish Championship side on the 1st July 2019, having agreed to sign a two year-deal with the Sky Blues.

The 23 year-old has made just under 100 appearances in Scottish football, having represented Aberdeen, Forfar and Ayr.

Michael has been an ever present in Ian McCall’s side during the past three seasons, since his move from boyhood club, Aberdeen.

Currently this season, Rose has made 27 appearances, scoring two goals.

The defender will return to Scotland for the remainder of the 2018/19 season with Ayr, before linking up with the Sky Blues for the 2019/20 season.
