Coventry City are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Charlie Wakefield.
The 20-year-old has joined the Sky Blues on a one-and-a-half-year deal following his release from Premier League Chelsea, subject to EFL confirmation.
Attacking winger Wakefield, who can play in defence if required, signed his first professional contract with Chelsea in 2015.
He featured extensively in their Under 18s and Under 21s sides and won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League twice while with The Blues.
Sky Blues Manager Mark Robins said:
