Sky Blues midfielder, Jack Burroughs has earned his first call-up to the Scotland Under-19 side.

Scottish Head Coach, Billy Stark has named his squad this afternoon for the upcoming fixtures against Spain and Azerbaijan in February.

Scotland will face Spain on Thursday 14th February at the Pinatar Arena, scheduled for a 12pm kick-off.

They will also face Azerbaijan on Sunday 17th February, also at the Pinatar Arena, scheduled for a 4pm kick-off.

Jack has impressed this season with the Sky Blues Under-18s, as well as establishing himself as a regular for Jason Farndon's Under-23s.

Earlier on this season, Burroughs made his first-team debut, coming off the bench in the Checkatrade Trophy against Forest Green Rovers at the Ricoh Arena.

These performances saw Jack rewarded with his first professional contract, which he signed last year.

Upon the call-up to the National side, Sky Blues Under-23s coach Jason Farndon had this to say:

"We are delighted for Jack upon his call-up, he has came into the under-23s this season and has made himself a regular.

"He has shown great attitude and hard work and has rightfully earned this recognition to represent Scotland.

"Jack has been with us for a long time and it's fantastic that he will get this opportunity."
