23 January 2019

A music concert will be held in Coventry in February, raising money for the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund.

The Sounds of the Fortunes will be held at Coombe Social Club in Coventry on Saturday 23 February 2019 in aid of the Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund.

The Jimmy Hill Legacy Fund supports activities for children and adults with disabilities and providing opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire, as well as providing grants for local community groups.

Members of The Fortunes Michael Smitham and Eddie Mooney will be appearing as Sounds of the Fortunes and sharing anecdotes from their time in the music business.

They will be performing all the hits of The Fortunes, such as 'You've Got Your Troubles' and 'Here It Comes Again', songs that reached numbers 2 and 4 respectively in the UK charts during 1965. They will be supported by Bob Morgan in a night full of 60s hits.

Tickets are £8 each, and can be purchased HERE or by calling Coombe Social Club on 0116 271 3618.
