You can run the Coventry Half Marathon in aid of Sky Blues in the Community and get a free space in the race!

In 2019 the Half Marathon will return as part of the Festival of Running and Sky Blues in the Community have a number of FREE spaces available to runners who are willing to represent the Sky Blues.

You will receive a FREE SBitC Event T-shirt to run in, plus an Official Coventry Half Marathon T-shirt to take home! On top of that you will also have support and training plans leading up to the day in your very own Personal Marathon Package.

All we ask for in return is you to pledge to raise £100 in sponsorship to go towards life changing projects across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Coinciding with the city's Year of Wellbeing and its year as a European City of Sport, the Festival of Running sees children's events, a 5k Fun Run, running workshops, and themed events all leading up to the Half Marathon on the morning of Sunday 24th March 2019.

Runners start at Jordan Well, and the route will take you around the city centre before heading up Radford Road and out into country lanes for some great views across the city and surrounding countryside. 

There are a few hills out here (but nothing insurmountable!) before you loop back down into town to complete your circuit of the City Centre and finish by the Cathedral. Runners will receive a medal and moisture-wicking running t-shirt, and get to enjoy physio, massage, street food and music at the finish line.
