Stuart Beavon scored his fifth goal of the season for Wrexham, as they picked up all three points against Dagenham & Redbridge.

The fixture at the Racecourse Ground was the first under the new management of former Birmingham City and Charlton Athletic midfielder, Bryan Hughes.

With 15 minutes remaining and the scores level at 0-0, Beavon came off the bench to score the winner.

Victory means Wrexham are now within two points of table toppers Leyton Orient and a point behind Solihull Moors.

Elsewhere, there was no fixtures this weekend for Tony Andreu and Hamilton Academical and also Bouwe Bosma and Salisbury.

Callum Maycock didnt feature for Macclesfield Town this week, as they scored deep into injury time to rescue a point against Crewe Alexandra.
