Community Engagement Coordinator
£23,000 per annum
Full-Time (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week)

Sky Blues in the Community are looking to add to their dedicated team with a position that delivers activities across Coventry & Warwickshire on behalf of Coventry City Football Club.
The purpose of the Community Engagement Coordinator is to support and coordinate Community projects such as Premier League Kicks, Children in Need and delivery and coordination and delivery of our Accelerate project.
The role requires a dynamic facilitator and effective organizer, with training in or experience of working with young people and adults individually and in groups, someone who can take initiative and develop a programme of work.
The successful candidate will champion young people’s voice and participation, listen to young people’s experience and help them develop knowledge and skills that help them deal with everyday challenges. The job is varied and involves building relationships and writing reports, facilitating circles and evaluating programmes of work.
The successful candidate will also be expected to work alongside the Inclusion Manager on further inclusion projects and activities.
Applicants must: have relevant qualifications (minimum FA Level 2 & Youth Work Award Level 2) and experience of working in the sport industry and youth work; will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & are required to hold a full UK Driving Licence with access to a suitable vehicle for work. This role will require working flexible and unsociable hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays where appropriate).
