Morgan Williams made his debut for Yeovil Town this weekend and it will certainly be one he will remember.
The Glovers were reduced to ten men in the 7th minute with the scores level at 0-0, meaning it was set to be a busy afternoon for Williams in the heart of defence.
However, Yeovil would go on to secure a 2-0 win against the odds, ensuring a winning start for Morgan and a clean sheet on his first start.
In the National League North and Leamington secured a 2-2 draw against Spennymoor Town at home.
Dexter Walters and Callum Maycock both started the game for the Brakes, with the Sky Blues duo being replaced in the 67th minute.
There was also another debut for striker David Bremang, as he made his first start since joining Nuneaton Borough, playing the full 90 minutes.
However, it would be one to forget for Dave, as Nuneaton fell to a 3-1 defeat against Rushall Olympic at Liberty Way.
Elsewhere, Junior Brown was an unused substitute in Scunthorpe’s 2-0 win away at Forest Green Rovers as he continues his return from injury.
Finally, Jordan Ponticelli remains on the sidelines for Tranmere Rovers, as they drew 1-1 at home to Accrington Stanley.
