The New Year will see the Sky Blues deliver Football Camps for children aged 5-11 years old at the Alan Higgs Centre on the 2nd and 3rd January 2020.
The Sky Blues Holiday Camps are focused around children having fun with a range of skills, activities, games and competitions delivered over the course of a typical day. We are committed to developing healthy, active lifestyles in children outside of their usual school/home sporting activities.
Children are taught to develop skills such as team work, leadership, confidence, communication and life skills required throughout childhood and beyond.
Every year, Sky Blues in the Community work with hundreds of children from the local area during the school holiday periods. Not only are the children lead by highly qualified and professional SBitC coaches, they are also regularly visited by Coventry City first team players, subject to availability.
This ensures that participants are constantly surrounded by positive roles models who encourage children to be the best they can be. Our player visits are the highlight of the camp for many children as it is a chance for them to meet their idol and learn from the best in their field.
Holiday Camps are open to both girls and boys of all sporting abilities, so if you’re looking for something for the kids to do in the New Year, book them a place at the Alan Higgs Centre on the 2nd and 3rd January 2020.
