The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Sunderland this upcoming weekend.
John Busby will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash against The Black Cats at the Stadium of Light.
So far this season, Busby has officiated in:
16 League One games
13 League Two games
1 Carabao Cup game
2 Emirates FA Cup games
6 Checkatrade Trophy games
Busby has officiated in 38 games during the 2018/19 campaign giving a total of 90 yellow cards and five red cards so far
It will be the second time that Busby has refereed a City game this season, having took charge of the Sky Blues Checkatrade Trophy clash against Arsenal Under-21s at the Ricoh Arena.
He will be assisted by Richard Wigglesworth and Ken Haycock, while Stephen Wade will act as fourth official.
