LOAN WATCH: Jak Hickman Named In Non-League Team of the Week

The defender starred again on the weekend...

1 April 2019

In his second game for the Bulls, Jak Hickman shone once again as he was named in the Non-League Paper National League North and South Team of the Week.

Hickman was starting in his second game for Hereford since joining on loan and after being named man of the match last week, he picked up where he had left off.

Hereford secured back to back wins as they came away from Spennymoor Town with all three points in a 2-0 away win.

In the National League and Stuart Beavon scored his sixth goal of the season for Wrexham, in a 4-2 defeat against Ebbsfleet United.

Beavon was brought on at half-time after the Dragons found themselves 3-0 down after just 45 minutes.

The 34 year-old helped to cut the deficit, but a fourth goal for the hosts ensured any chance of a comeback had gone for Bryan Hughes’ side.

Elsewhere, in the Scottish Premiership it was a disappointing afternoon for Tony Andreu and Hamilton Academical.

The Accies were defeated 5-0 away from home against Kilmarnock, which enabled St Mirren to close the gap on them to four points.

Tony started the game, but was brought off after 62 minutes.

Also this weekend, Reise Allassani was an unused substitute as Woking drew 1-1, as did Callum Maycock’s Macclesfield Town, however Callum didn’t feature.
