Coventry City can confirm that Jordan Ponticelli has sustained a broken metatarsal during his loan spell with Macclesfield Town.
The striker was making his debut for the Silkmen during their trip to Gresty Road to take on Crewe Alexandra in League Two action.
However, the striker was forced off before the half-time break, having suffered a broken metatarsal.
The striker is set to face up to three months on the sideline, as he will begin his recovery back at the Sky Blue Lodge.
Following his return to fitness, Jordan will resume his loan spell with League Two side Macclesfield Town.
