Coventry City’s Matchday Programme PUSB has been named the Best Programme in League Two for the 2017/18 season by Sports Trader Magazine.
The magazine praised PUSB as: “an excellent production, containing interesting information, with first class articles, together with good colour and most importantly good value for money.”
The Award from Sports Trader follows PUSB being named runner up by Programme Monthly in the Programme of the Year Award for 2017/18 in League Two.
Matchday Programme PUSB is available for £3 around the ground each matchday, containing a number of features both on the current side and looking back at the Sky Blues history.
The Sky Blues’ programme scored 8.5 out of 10. In the Premier League, Huddersfield was named best with 7/10 while then Championship club Fulham scored 8.5/10 to win that award, and Shrewsbury won in League One with a 7.5 score.
Mark Hornby, Head of Marketing and Communications at Coventry City, said:
“We are delighted to receive this award for the programme last year from Sports Trader, and to receive further recognition of the hard work involved in producing a top-quality programme for supporters.
“Ahead of last season there were a number of changes to the programme and to the people producing it, so to have received another award is very pleasing.
“In the Summer, we reviewed the progress made during last season to produce what we hope has been an even better publication so far this campaign, and we hope that fans have enjoyed the programme this season and thank them for buying it.
“At a time when some clubs are moving away from a matchday programme, we are proud to be continuing the great tradition Coventry City has in producing a programme, and a high quality one too!”
