Coventry City can confirm that Jordan Shipley has been called up to represent Republic of Ireland Under-21s.
The midfielder was named in Noel King's 20 man squad earlier today, as the Irish look to qualify for the European Championship for the first time.
The Under-21s will take on Isreal in Akko on Thursday 11th October, before travelling to Heidenheim to face group leaders Germany on Tuesday 16th October.
The midfielder has had a breakthrough 12 months with Coventry City, making over 50 appearances and scoring seven goals along the way.
Shipley will link-up with the Ireland squad ahead of these fixtures.
