The striker scored his third of the season...

1 October 2018

It was another good weekend for Stuart Beavon and Wrexham, as the striker scored the only goal in the game, to give the Red Dragons all three points.

Beavon struck just before half-time to give Sam Ricketts’ team a 1-0 win against Barnet in National League action.

Elsewhere in the National League, Reise Allassani made his debut for Ebbsfleet United and put on a man of the match display.

Ebbsfleet were 3-1 winners away at Dagenham & Redbridge and Allassani was the pick of the bunch, also being recognised by the National League, as he was named in the team of the weekend.

Midfielder, Callum Maycock was back in the starting eleven for the Silkmen, as they picked up another point at the Moss Rose.

Callum played a full 90 minutes against Forest Green Rovers, as they battled to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw.

In the National League North, City loanee, Jak Hickman’s side, Ashton United made it three wins on the bounce.

The defender played a full 90 minutes as Ashton scored an injury time winner against Leamington to earn a 2-1 victory.

Kyle Finn was back in action again for Tamworth, as he got another full game under his belt, but his side fell to a 2-1 defeat against Royston Town in the Evo-Stik Southern Division.

There was a league debut for Bouwe Bosma, as he came on after 61 minutes against Southport, in their 2-0 defeat away from home against Brackley Town.

Finally, Jordan Ponticelli remains on the sidelines as he looks to recover from a broken foot which has kept him out for Macclesfield Town.
