INTERVIEW: "Morale Is High In The Camp"

Sky Blues midfielder Tom Bayliss looks ahead to Doncaster...

26 October 2018

Sky Blues midfielder Tom Bayliss is hoping him and his team mates continue their good form this weekend against Doncaster Rovers.

City head into the game on the back of four consecutive league wins, with the last victory coming up against Bradford City on Tuesday night.

Bayliss was on the scoresheet for the first time this season against The Bantams and after the Sky Blues scored four in the game, Tom told how it was always a matter of time before the chances started turn into goals.

He said: “Obviously the morale is high in the camp, we have won four on a bounce now and it has been a really good month for us and hopefully we can make it five against Doncaster tomorrow.

“I think everyone has been saying earlier in the season, everything was coming together nicely and that has proved to be the fact as everything is coming together nicely.

“We are scoring goals from all over the park and winning games which is brilliant.

“It’s always nice to score 4 goals away from home and probably the performance wasn’t one of our best, but the goals were always going to come.”

City come up against a Doncaster side who are in good form themselves this season, sitting a point and a place above the Sky Blues.

However, Tom is confident that on their day, City can beat anyone in this league and he knows they’ll be a challenge.

“I think I said that a few weeks ago, we know we can challenge against anyone in the division.” He said.

“We have played some of the top sides and we have been good against them. So, yes I think we can challenge anyone.

“We are scoring goals from all over and hopefully the fans are enjoying the football that we are playing.”
