The EFL have confirmed who will be the match officials against Peterborough United this Friday night.
Anthony Backhouse will be the man in the middle of the Sky Blues clash against the Posh in Sky Bet League One action at the Ricoh Arena.
So far this season, Backhouse has officiated in:
7 League One games
6 League Two games
2 Checkatrade Trophy games
2 Carabao Cup games
1 Emirates FA Cup game
Backhouse has officiated in 18 games during the 2018/19 campaign giving a total of 43 yellow cards and two red cards so far.
It will be the first time that Backhouse has refereed a City game this season, with his last outing coming in the first game of the 2017/18 season, with the Sky Blues beating Notts County 3-0 at the Ricoh Arena.
He will be assisted by Alan Clayton and Paul Graham, while Tom Nield will act as fourth official.
