It was a great weekend for Stuart Beavon and Wrexham this past weekend, as they booked their place in the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The Dragons came up against Weston-super-Mare at the Woodspring Stadium in the First Round and Sam Ricketts’ side left with a 2-0 win.
Beavon played his part in the first goal, as he assisted Luke Summerfield, who scored the opener in the 51st minute.
Then, the striker found the back of the net himself to put the tie to bed and score his fourth goal of the season.
Elsewhere, unfortunately Corey Addai was unable to keep his run of clean sheets going for Mickelover Sports on Saturday.
However, the ‘keeper put in a good performance to help Mickleover earn a replay against Startford Town in the FA Trophy after a 1-1 draw.
There was a run-out for Kyle Finn as well this weekend, as he came off the bench for Hereford FC in their defeat to FC United of Manchester.
Finn came on with Hereford 3-0 down at half-time as helped keep the score for the visitors at three and also as Hereford pulled one back to make the score 3-1.
The other Sky Blue loanees; Reece Ford, Reise Allassani, Callum Maycock, Jordan Ponticelli and Bouwe Bosma weren’t involved for their respected clubs.
