City return to the Ricoh Arena tomorrow night...

Sky Blues boss Mark Robins is hoping to get back to winning ways when his side take on Peterborough United tomorrow night.

City return to action at the Ricoh Arena tomorrow following three consecutive away trips in all competitions.

After a couple of defeats in recent outings, Robins won’t be changing anything in terms of training heading into the games, as the Sky Blues look to pick up all three points.

He said: “In terms of the league we’ve lost one in seven, so won five, drawn one and lost one.

“It happens during a season and this is a tough run of games and we’ve got a tough run of game coming up with the Christmas period around the corner.

“A lot of games to come but getting back on to it I’m not changing anything in terms of training but getting all the detail in without overloading them.”

Talking about coming up against Peterborough: “It is a tough run of games and this (Peterborough) is the next one, a Friday night game and something different for us.

“We just want to give a good account of ourselves and saying that we want to get back to winning ways, we want to win this one and go all out to do so.

“We know they’ve got a good away record and some good players, they play in a certain way.

“They will look to counter attack, they will try and press, but they’ve had good win and they’ve got a really good blend.

“This is about two good teams and think it should always be about that, we are as hungry for the three points as much as they are.”

The Sky Blues will welcome the return to availability of defender Tom Davies, who has recovered from an injury that had kept him out since Walsall.

Tom has began training with the first team again as of the start of the week and helps to add to the depth available to Robins.

“He (Tom Davies) is training, and you know what Tom is like, he is character who just wants to be playing.

“He is desperate to try and get back in, which is what everyone should be, and we have a lot of games coming up and players should be looking to take one of the places.

“It is every chance players are going to get game time in the next couple of weeks, then it is up to them to take the opportunity. Everyone is going to be pushing each other.”
