TICKETS: Notts County away sold out - but 500 more tickets set to be available

10 May 2018

Tickets are now sold out for the away leg of Coventry City’s League Two Play-Off Semi-Final against Notts County – but more are on the way.

Coventry City has now negotiated an additional allocation of 500 tickets from Notts County for the game. On sale details for these tickets will be confirmed once they are arrive, and communicated in advance of going on sale.

The match is played on Friday 18th May, with a 7:45pm kick-off at Meadow Lane.

Tickets went on sale at 9am on 10th May, with tickets sold out online and via the call centre just before 11am.

Tickets were held back for disabled supporters to purchase at the Butts Park Arena Ticket Office, with this number in proportion to the allocation and amount of disabled/ambulant disabled supporters which the club has.

We have been informed by Notts County that any Coventry City supporters found to have purchased tickets for the home end at Meadow Lane will be ejected from the stadium.

Dave Boddy, Chief Executive at Coventry City, said: “To sell out our initial allocation of tickets for the game in one morning is testament to the superb supporters that Coventry City has.

“To see the excitement of fans who have got their tickets for the game has been fantastic. We could have sold many, many more than we were allocated and we appreciate some fans who wanted to go have not been able to and are pleased to secure an extra allocation of tickets.

“However, I am in no doubt that whether fans are following it at Meadow Lane, or via Sky Sports back in Coventry or around the world, they will be looking forward to the match.”

We have been provided with the following advice from Notts County:

"Any supporter without a Notts County ticket purchase history who is attempting to/has purchased tickets in home areas will have their details checked. This will include all new registrations on the online booking site. Any ticket buyer through the Notts County online ticketing site, that holds a purchase history with Coventry City, will have their booking refunded and tickets cancelled. As per the ground regulations, visiting team’s supporters are not permitted in home areas of Meadow Lane.

Additionally, any away supporter who is found to have gained access to a home area on matchday will be ejected from the ground and under no circumstances be relocated to the away end."
