NEWS: Important information for fans going to Notts County on Friday

17 May 2018

Coventry City have received important guidance from Notts County ahead of Friday’s decisive visit to Meadow Lane for the Skybet League Two Play-Off Semi Final second leg.

Nearly 4,500 Sky Blues supporters will be in attendance and they are advised of the following information:

TICKETS:

Under no circumstances will any tickets be sold to away supporters on matchday.

Any City fans found to be in home areas will be ejected from the stadium and will not, under any circumstances, be relocated to the away end.

Please do not travel to the match if you have not purchased a ticket.

Pre-purchased tickets can be collected from the Away Ticket Collection window in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand. Tickets purchased in the second batch of the allocation were advertised for collection only.

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY:

Due to the high volume of away supporters, queues at the turnstiles will be very busy close to kick-off.

Please, therefore, arrive early if possible.

Turnstiles open at 6.30pm and refreshments are available inside the concourse.

Please note – Nottingham Forest’s Pitch Diner bar will not be available to City supporters for this fixture.

SUPPORTERS BUSES PICK-UP/DROP OFF:

City supporters using official club transport will be dropped off and picked up from the Brian Clough car park (Nottingham Forest FC – accessed via Scarrington Road, NG2 5BR).

This is approximately a 10-minute walk away from Meadow Lane.

PARKING:

Supporters will be able to park in Nottingham Forest’s Brian Clough car park (details above) at a cost of £3 per vehicle.

ENTERING THE STADIUM:

City supporters are advised to check the block number on their ticket and enter via the appropriate turnstile:

Block Z: 21-24

Block: Y: 24-27

Block X: 27-31

Please be advised that search detection dogs will be stationed outside turnstiles around the ground.

Supporters are asked to retain their ticket after entering the stadium to help them find their allocated seat (see below for more information).

PLEASE SIT IN YOUR ALLOCATED SEAT:

The away end will be at full capacity and it is therefore essential supporters sit in the seat shown on their ticket. Fans are also asked to take their seat as early as possible.

Clear signage will be on display and stewards will be on hand to help you find your way.

POLICE UPDATES

The @NottPolFootball Twitter account will be providing live updates on matchday and in the build-up.

ROAD CLOSURE

County Road (behind the away end), Iremonger Road and Cattle Market Road will be closed after the game to allow for the safe dispersal of supporters.

Parking is not suspended on Iremonger Road, however no vehicles will be able to exit any car parks on that road from full-time until it is deemed safe.

Exit from Cattle Market Road on to Incinerator Road will be prevented for approximately 20 minutes following the game’s conclusion.
