NEWS: Coventry City announce retained list following end of 2017/18 season

31 May 2018

Coventry City Football Club can announce its retained list following the end of the 2017-18 season.

We are delighted to confirm the one-year extension option to the contract of Midfielder Michael Doyle has been triggered, with the Sky Blues captain’s contract now expiring on 30th June 2019.

The club has engaged with Dominic Hyam regarding extending his contract for a further year.

Meanwhile, Devon Kelly-Evans, Dion Kelly-Evans, Kyel Reid and Bilal Sayoud will be leaving the Sky Blues after the conclusion of their contracts with the club.

21 year old forward Devon made 18 appearances for the Sky Blues, scoring one goal against Exeter last September, while Dion made a total of 40 appearances, with the defender having debuted in May 2016 and appearing in the 2017 Checkatrade Trophy Final win.

Reid started in the Checkatrade Trophy Final win, and appeared off the bench in the Play-Off Final victory over Exeter City. Having joined the Sky Blues in July 2016, Reid made 50 appearances and scored 2 goals for the club.

Sayoud played one first-team game for the Sky Blues, at Walsall in the Checkatrade Trophy in October.

We’d like to wish Devon, Dion, Kyel and Bilal the best of luck in their future.
