PREVIEW: Coventry City v Lincoln City - The Sky Blues face the Imps at the Ricoh Arena

Mark Robins' side look to make it back-to-back wins SkyBet League Two...

2 March 2018

The Sky Blues look to make it back-to-back wins as they welcome Lincoln City to the Ricoh Arena tomorrow afternoon.

Mark Robins' side have turned around their poor February form with a draw away at Mansfield and an victory at third place Wycombe Wanders, just three days apart.

Jordan Willis looks likely to return for the Sky Blues, despite Dom Hyam's strong performances, after serving his one match ban for the red card he picked up a week ago.

Aside from long-term absentees, Tom Davies (collar bone), Jodi Jones (ACL) and Tony Andreu (ACL), Robins has a full cast to chose from.

Lincoln City head into this one on the back of two straight defeats, shipping seven goals in the process. The Imps were leading against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday for the first fourty-five minutes but went on to lose 4-1.

Danny Cowley has no new injury concerns ahead of this one with 'keeeper Josh Vickers and defender James Wilson the only two sidelined.

The Opponents

Matt Green looks likely to lead the line for the Imps at the Ricoh. The former Birmingham City striker started his career in non-league with Newport County before attracting the attention of Cardiff City. Green scored 26 goals in 83 games for Mansfield Town over the last two season's before joining Lincoln in the summer on a two-year deal.

Alongside Green in attack, Matt Rhead has been a handful for defenders all season.  The targetman has scored 41 goals in 106 appearances for Lincoln after joining from Mansfield in 2015 and has become a fans favourite in Lincolnshire.

Tom Pett broke Sky Blue hearts when City he salvaged a late point for Stevenage earlier this season. Since then the 26-year-old has swapped the Broadhall Stadium for Sincil Bank as part of a two-and-a-half year deal.

Earlier This Season

Goals from Jodi Jones and Duckens Nazon gave the Sky Blues all three points after a brilliant second half turnaround when the sides met in November at Sincil Bank.

Imps' striker Matt Rhead gave the home side the lead at the break but a stunning solo goal from Jones and a close range finish from Nazon gave City their second away win on the bounce.
