The next meeting of the Coventry City Supporters Forum is set to take place on Thursday 5th April.
The second meeting of the Forum follows a successful inaugural meeting of the new Forum which took place in January. Minutes from the meeting can be seen here.
At the meeting in January, the representation on the group was discussed by members of the Forum.
The Forum currently consists of representatives from:
- London Supporters Club
- The Sky Blue Trust
- Former Players Association
- Leamington and Warwick Supporters Club
- Diamond Club
- Family Zone Volunteers
- Sky Blues in the Community
- Irish Supporters Club
- LGBT Supporters Group.
The South Wales Supporters Group were invited to be involved in the Forum, but no response was received.
At the end of February, fans were asked to put themselves for the following positions:
- 17/18 Season Ticket holder representative – Under 30
- 17/18 Season Ticket holder representative – Over 30
- 17/18 Corporate Season Ticket holder representative
- Disabled Supporter representative
We were delighted with the level of interest expressed by supporters in the roles.
Further comments have been received about representation on the Forum, and suggestions of other groups which could be involved, and as such requires further discussion by the existing members at April’s Forum.
Therefore, the club will be in contact with fans who have put themselves forward as representatives for the 4 ‘voted’ roles following April’s Forum and finalisation of the Forum.
Minutes from the meeting and details of the process to vote for representatives will be on our website by the end of April.
