Coventry City will face Everton Under 23s at La Manga on Friday 13th July, with kick-off at 11am.
The match will be the Sky Blues only pre-season game in Spain, as Mark Robins’ side prepares for the new SkyBet League One campaign with a friendly against David Unsworth’s team.
Chief Executive Dave Boddy explained:
“We are very pleased to announce our pre-season game in Spain against Everton Under 23s at La Manga, which will be a good test for the squad at the end of their week’s training in Spain.
“We had planned a game to be played on the Tuesday too. Following promotion to League One, and not wanting to play against teams who we would face in the League this season, we have now not been able to arrange a fixture against suitable opposition.
“By getting this news to fans with nearly a month to go, we hope that any fans who are travelling over are able to make their plans accordingly.
“La Manga is a superb facility, in a great area of Spain close to where the squad is training and fans are staying, so it should be a fantastic end to the week.”
