NEWS: Coventry City thanks Allsopp & Allsopp as shirt sponsorship comes to an end

New shirt sponsor revealed on Tuesday...

4 June 2018

Coventry City would like to thank Allsopp & Allsopp for four years of being the front of the shirt sponsor for the Sky Blues, following the conclusion of the sponsorship agreement with the estate agents at the end of the 2017/18 season.

The Play-Off Final win over Exeter City was Allsopp & Allsopp’s final game on the front of the shirt, and saw their sponsorship end on a high as the Sky Blues won promotion back to League One.

The company first began their sponsorship following the club’s return to the Ricoh Arena, when they sponsored the Sky Blues’ home shirt during the 2014/15 season and again for the 2015/16 season.

After the successful partnership for the home shirt sponsorship, the agreement was then extended to both the home and away shirts for the next two seasons.

Last season, the Sky Blues lifted the Checkatrade Trophy with the company on the front of the shirt and also their logo was also on the front during Mark Robins side’s promotion back to League One in the 2017/18 season

We have enjoyed a successful relationship with Allsopp & Allsopp and are grateful for their support over the last four years as front of shirt sponsor.

The new front of shirt sponsor will be announced on Tuesday at midday.

Dave Boddy, Chief Executive of Coventry City, said: “We would like to thank Allsopp & Allsopp for their support over the last four years. They have been huge backers of the club during that period, and personally we have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Allsopp family.”

Carl Allsopp, of Allsopp & Allsopp, said: “A lifelong dream has been fulfilled having been able to be involved with Coventry City in some form. Both Lewis (Allsopp, CEO) and I are thrilled having had two trips to Wembley where our company and our family name has been emblazoned across our beloved Sky Blue shirts, something we will never forget. We would both like to wish Mark Robins and the team all the best for the forthcoming season, and would like to thank the entire team behind the scenes who have been superb to work with over the past four years.  Lastly, we would like to wish the clubs new sponsor all the best and hope they get as much enjoyment out of it as we have! PUSB”.

Dave Boddy, Coventry City Chief Executive, commented: “There will be a new front of shirt sponsor for next season, which will be another local Coventry business. This underlines our commitment to work together closely with local businesses and our community – whether that is through shirt sponsorships or the range of other sponsorship options which we have.

“We look forward to revealing the new shirt sponsor to fans on Tuesday.”

Tynan Scope, Head of Commercial of CCFC, added: “I have had the pleasure of knowing the Allsopp family for many years, long before they became front of shirt sponsors, and know how much it has meant to them as a family being lifelong Sky Blues fans.  It has been an absolute pleasure to work so closely with them as front of shirt sponsors the last four seasons.  We look forward to continuing to work with Allsopp & Allsopp as a business and the Allsopp family next season and for many seasons to come”.
