Coventry City can confirm the signing of defender Morgan Williams from Mickleover Sports for an undisclosed fee.
Williams, who was on trial with City's Under-23s towards the back end of last season, impressed during his spell with the club.
The 18 year-old has now put pen to paper on a two year-deal with the Sky Blues and will be initially based in the Under-23s ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Morgan was a key figure for Mickleover last year and was named in the 2017/18 Norther Premier League Team of the Season.
Upon the completion of the deal, Sky Blues Under-23 Coach, Jason Farndon had this to say:
"We were impressed with Morgan when he joined us on trial and he showed the right attitude and matched that with his performances during the time we had with him.
"He had a good grounding at Mickleover and impressed there last season and we are looking forward to working with him and continuing his development with us.
"This is another signing from a club in the non-league football pyramid, and it is good that we are looking at these clubs and the players who we believe can make the step up for us."
