We are pleased to announce that defender, Lewis Green has agreed his first professional contract with Coventry City Football Club.
The defender, who is predominantly a right-back, has penned a one year-deal with the Sky Blues following a run of impressive displays in the under-18s side.
Lewis also featured regularly in Jason Farndon's under-23 side last season due to his performances with the under-18s.
The 18 year-old recently scored the only goal in the pre-season friendly against Nuneaton Town at Liberty Way, to give the Sky Blues under-23s a 1-0 win.
Sky Blues Under-23s boss, Jason Farndon had this to say:
"Lewis joined the club at around 11 years of age and is a very athletic defender, with a big stature and size.
"He is a full-back who can play anywhere across the back four when asked upon and we are looking forward to working with him this season."
