We are pleased to announce that midfielder, Josh Eccles has agreed his first professional contract with Coventry City Football Club.
The 18 year-old was a regular in the Under-18 side last season and also featured for Jason Farndon's Under-23 side throughout the 2017/18 season.
Eccles has signed a one year-deal with the Sky Blues, as he looks to continue his development during the 2018/19 campaign.
Upon signing his deal, Coventry City Under-23s boss, Jason Farndon had this to say:
"Josh loves to have the ball at his feet. He is a passing midfielder and he likes to get the ball and dictate play and he is also versatile and able to play in numerous positions.
"He joined the club when he was just 8 years-old and we are looking forward to him continuing his stay with us."
